I doubled the number of steelplayers in the Seychelles when I took a nice SD10 there for my friend Barry Laine......
They had one guy "Jack" who could play anything you wanted to hear on an old "Maverick type Fender... it did`ent even have a full compliment of strings on the thing .... but he could play>>>>
Now there are two!!! :)

Has anyone heard of a Dobro player called Hans Joachim (Jade) who most likely lived in Germany?
I bought a few albums through discogs that used to belong to him.
A few of them were inscribed to him by the musicians- Bev King, Joe Knight and Bashful Brother Oswald
